The FBM KLCI (+0.28%) climbed after a volatile morning session as bargain hunting activities emerged, snapping the four-session losing streak; regional sentiment was mixed. Market breadth, however, remained negative as the decliners outpaced the advancers by 586-to-310 stocks. The broader market traded negative-biased with the construction sector (-1.11%) being hit the most, succumbing to selldown in IJM (-4.0 sen), GAMUDA (-4.0 sen), and AME (-5.0 sen). Meanwhile, the plantation sector (+0.92%) staged a rebound.
