TThe FBM KLCI (-0.93%) fell for a sixth straight session in tandem with the regional selloff following a decline on Wall Street overnight as fret over global inflation persisted and China's spiked in Covid cases are negatively affecting market sentiment. Market breadth remained negative as the decliners hammered the advancers by 601-to-315 stocks. The broader market was negative with the plantation sector (-1.87%) being hit the most, dragged by SIMEPLT (-12.0 sen), IOICORP (-8.0 sen), and KLK (-32.0 sen), while the REITs sector (+0.12%) was the sole gainer.
