The FBM KLCI (+0.07%) ended the week with marginal gains as profit taking activities emerged and the FBM KLCI slid in the final hour of trading; three-quarters of the heavyweights ended in the red, while TENAGA (+20.0 sen), SIMEPLT (+13.0 sen), and MAXIS (+5.0 sen) soared. Market breadth remained positive as the advancers outpaced the decliners by 557-to-383 stocks. The technology sector extended its uptrend move, buoyed by UNISEM (+24.0 sen), FRONTKN (+16.0 sen) and HONGSENG (+3.0 sen).
