FBM KLCI: 1,492.33 pts (-5.35pts, -0.36%)

The FBM KLCI (-0.36%) gave up further gains along with the regional peers as losses in technology, glove and selected banking heavyweights weighed on the key index. Market breadth stayed negative as the decliners hammered the advancers by 601-to-242 stocks. The technology sector (-2.94%) was the biggest drag on the broader market as INARI (-13.0 sen), VITROX (-28.0 sen), and MPI (-108.0 sen) sank following the weaker guidance from corporates from the US technology counters. Meanwhile, the healthcare sector (-2.62%) tumbled after HARTA reported a significant decline in its net income.
