FBM KLCI: 1,495.49 pts (+28.23pts, +1.92%)

The FBM KLCI (+1.92%) rebounded along with most of the regional peers, snapping the six-session losing streak. Also, investors were cheering on the stimulus measure worth RMB300bn planned by China earlier today. Market breadth turned positive as the advancers trounced the decliners by 663-to-293 stocks. All 13 sub-indices closed in the positive territory, led by the energy sector (+3.63%) as crude oil price stabilised above USD100 per barrel mark; leading stocks include DIALOG (+5.0 sen), HENGYUAN (+52.0 sen), and HIBISCS (+6.0 sen).
