The FBM KLCI (-1.08%) plunged amid the widespread bearish sentiment across regional markets following Wall Street’s decline. Market breadth remained negative as the advancers trounced the decliners by 706-to-217 stocks. The broader market was traded in a negative undertone with the healthcare sector (-3.19%) taking the hardest hit due to persistent selldown in IHH (-16.0 sen), TOPGLOV (-6.0 sen), and HARTA (-11.0 sen). On the other hand, the plantation sector (+0.23%) was the sole advancing sector.
