The FBM KLCI (-0.65%) declined as investors stayed cautious ahead of the formation of the new Cabinet and in line with the negative sentiment across the regional indices. However, the market breadth remained positive as the advancers led the decliners by with 541 gainers as compared to 406 decliners. Out of the 13 sub-indices, the energy sector gained the most today, advancing 1.88% with YINSON (+11.0 sen), DIALOG (+2.0 sen) and VELESTO (+1.0 sen) topping the O&G sector.
