The FBM KLCI (-0.30%) ended in the negative territory amidst mixed regional markets as losses in PCHEM (-15.0 sen) and selected plantation as well as banking heavyweights dragged the key index lower. Market breadth was negative as the decliners led the advancers by 454-to-424 stocks. The plantation sector (-1.38%) led the decline on broader market due to selldown in SIMEPLT (-15.0 sen), KLK (-50.0 sen), and GENP (-21.0 sen), followed by the healthcare sector (-1.11%).
