The FBM KLCI (-0.93%) retreated in tandem with the regional peers, taking cue from the negative performance on Wall Street overnight as the profit taking activities emerged. Market breadth turned negative as the decliners thumped the advancers by 632-to-326 stocks. Broader market was painted in red as all the 13 sectorial indices ended in the negative territory, led by the healthcare sector (-1.52%) as TOPGLOV (-7.0 sen), IHH (-4.0 sen), and HARTA (-3.0 sen) remained under pressure, followed by the technology sector (-1.29%).
