The FBMKLCI (-0.06%) snapped a 6-day winning streak, taking a break after the launch of Budget 2024 theme "Madani Economy" framework and the NETR yesterday; selected plantation heavyweights such as SIMEPLT (-5.0 sen), PPB (-24.0 sen) and KLK (-30.0 sen) took a breather. Market breadth has turned negative with 474 decliners, 415 advancers, while 426 traded unchanged. On the broader market, the healthcare (+1.09%) and REIT (0.35%) were the leading sectors; the former rose higher led by most of the glove manufacturers such as HARTA (+8.0 sen) and TOPGLOV (+2.0 sen) .
