FBM KLCI: 1,444.56 pts (-6.68pts, -0.46%)

The FBMKLCI (-0.46%) continues to trade lower for the session and it has declined below the 1,450 level; led by selling pressure on PMETAL (-10.0 sen), PCHEM (-10.0 sen) and CIMB (-5.0 sen). Besides, the Fitch downgraded the US Long Term Ratings to 'AA+' from 'AAA' affected the sentiment. Market breadth, turned negative with 555 decliners as compared to 348 gainers. Out of the 13 sub-sectors, there are 4 sub-sectors that ended higher, with Utilities (+0.99%) and Construction (+0.20%) leading the pack. For the Utilities sector, YTLPOWR and YTL added 7.0 sen and 3.0 sen, respectively, while for the Construction sector, WCEHB and EKOVEST rose 1.5 sen and 1.0 sen, respectively.
