The FBM KLCI closed marginally higher for the session, and maintained above the 1,450 psychological level as bargain hunting activities emerged within selected heavyweights like PCHEM (+22.0 sen) and TENAGA (+11.0 sen). Market breadth, however was negative with decliners led advancers by 5-to-4. On the broader market, the Energy sector gained the most, rising 2.89%, led by DIALOG (+6.0 sen) and YINSON (+4.0 sen) . Meanwhile, the Plantation sector added 0.65% as buying interest was noticed within IOICORP (+5.0 sen) and SIMEPLT (+5.0 sen).
