Johor Plantations Group Berhad, initially incorporated as Yule Catto Plantations Sdn Bhd in Malaysia on March 21, 1978, underwent several name changes before becoming a public limited company in 2023. Operating primarily in Johor, Malaysia, the company focuses on upstream oil palm plantation activities. It manages 23 plantation estates, covering a total landbank of 59,781 hectares, with 55,904 hectares planted with oil palms. Additionally, the company manages third-party estates and operates five palm oil mills. As part of its IPO, Johor Plantations plans to expand into downstream plantation business, processing and selling crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) products.

Around 7 mkts days before FYR announcements px rallies especially last 2 days.When FYR announcements yesterday px give back 0.22- 0.25 cts from high of RM1.47
Can it be EPF r clueless of the FYR
n has been disposing or is it sell on news n lock in profits as EPF has been investing at much lower px n needs it for contributors dividen n reshuffle folios?
FYR very good ,plus dividen but much lower.
Px movement could be 50/50

The Board of Directors of JPG wishes to announce that JPG has on 18 November 2024 issued a letter of acceptance (“LOA”) to JL Projects Sdn. Bhd. ("JLPro"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of JLand Group Sdn Bhd (“JLG”), which in turn is a 100%-owned subsidiary of Johor Corporation (“JCorp”) for the appointment of JLPro as the Project Management Consortium (“PMC”) for the construction of an Integrated Sustainable Palm Oil Complex (“ISPOC”) for Johor Plantations Group Berhad (“Proposed Appointment of PMC”) for a contract sum of RM30,991,524.00 (“Contract Sum”) and a contract period of 3 years.

JPG is upstream company, KLK and BtKawan is Mix of upstream and down stream
Most of successful plantation share are mostly upstream company like United, KMLoong.
Plantation is less volatile and more stable share but generally it is does not move up price fast, but they give good dividend
Also do note that major share holder of JPG is

If There are Large Investor in this share means they are likely to predict good growth potential in future

I commented yesterday. See the parent company Johor Corp, also good future price for CPO
KWSP will try to manipulate the price as you see they are major seller and buyer from announcement
So for past 1-2 weeks support level is around 1.28 and resistance is around 1.40, so expect some small up and down.
Best buy is when hit around 1.28-1.29 using current movement
Do note this is just opinion, at own risk. Any large up or down is possible but probability is small
