The FBM KLCI (-0.06%) ended flat amid the mixed regional markets, despite the fairly positive movements from Wall Street overnight performance as selling pressure was noticed in selected Telco counters namely CDB & MAXIS. Market breadth was positive with gainers outpacing losers by 453-to-377 stocks. On the broader market, the Utilities sector (+2.03%) closed higher thanks to buying support in YTL (+15.0 sen) and YTLPOWR (+15.0 sen) following the Jensen Huang visit in Malaysia. Meanwhile, the Telco & Media sector ended lower, declining by -0.52% following the selling pressure in CDB (-7.0 sen) and MAXIS (-5.0 sen).
