The FBM KLCI (+0.80%) ended lower in line with the negative performance of the regional markets, as strong profit taking activities were seen in Banking heavyweights such as PBBANK (-8.0 sen) and MAYBANK (-10.0 sen). Market breadth was negative as losers led gainers by 588-to-359 stocks. On the broader market, the Energy sector (+0.67%) was the leading sector with buying interest in DAYANG (+6.0 sen) and ARMADA (+1.0 sen). Meanwhile, the Healthcare sector declined by 1.56%, due to selling pressure in HARTA (-10.0 sen) and TOPGLOV (-2.5 sen).
