Market breadth was negative with losers outpaced gainers by 645-to-422 stocks. On the broader market, the Energy sector (+0.51%) was the leading sector led by buying interest in DAYANG (+4.0 sen) and PERDANA (+1.5 sen), while the Plantation sector (-0.63%) declined due to selling pressure in IOICORP (-6.0 sen).
