Mr. Teo holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting from Curtin University of Technology, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Certified Practising Accountant with Certified Practising Accountant, Australia (CPA Australia).

Mr. Teo has a strong and vast experience in finance and operations, having held several key roles at Muar Ban Lee Group, where he has been appointed since 2008 initially serving as a Senior Manager, and his main duties are to manage marketing strategies, customer relationships, and operational oversight. He then transitioned to Group Accountant from 2010 to 2015, where he was responsible for consolidated financial statements, quarterly financial reports and statutory compliance. In 2015, Mr. Teo was redesignated as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he managed strategic financial management, financial operations and internal control, risks and compliance management and resigned from Muar Ban Lee Group on June 2022. He subsequently joined a private company involving in integrated livestock farming as CFO and resigned in December 2023.

He was re-appointed as Group General Manager in Muar Ban Lee Group since January 2024 and now promoted to Group Chief Operating Officer.
