Mr Chua Ling Hong was appointed to the Board of Karyon Industries Berhad ("KIB") on 11 July 2006. He is currently the Chairman of the ESOS Committee of KIB. Mr Chua started his career as a Corporate Planning Executive in Bengawan Solo Pte Ltd (BSPL), where he was well exposed to various functions including marketing, human resources, production and purchasing. He resigned from BSPL in 1999 to join Polyvinyl Pte Ltd as Sales and Marketing Executive covering the whole of Malaysia. Subsequently, Mr Chua joined Hsing Lung Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KIB, taking charge of functions such as purchasing, marketing, quality control, product development and overall management of the company. In addition, he is also involved in the operations of Allbright Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, another wholly-owned subsidiary of KIB.

Mr Chua Ling Hong is the son of Dr Chua Kee Lam ("CKL"), who is the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Company, brother of Ms Chua Ling Lee ("CLL"), who is an Executive Director of the Company and Mr Yeoh Eng How ("YEH") who is the spouse of his sister and Alternate Director to Dr Chua Kee Lam. CKL, CLL and YEH are also substantial shareholders of KIB.
He is the son of Madam Teoh Kooi Kim, who is a substantial shareholder of KIB.
