He is a businessman with more than four decades of entrepreneurial experience and has diverse interests in property development and investment, gaming and lottery management, stockbroking, motor distribution, retailing, trading, hospitality, Internet-related businesses, environmental and utilities, media, food and beverage, telecommunications, insurance and education through various public and private companies namely, Berjaya Corporation Berhad group of companies, Berjaya Media Berhad, Berjaya Assets Berhad, 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad, Berjaya Retail Berhad, Intan Utilities Berhad, U Mobile Sdn Bhd and MOL Ventures Pte Ltd.
Currently, he is the Executive Chairman of Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd and the Chairman of U Mobile Sdn Bhd and Cosway (M) Sdn Bhd, He is also the Managing Director/CEO of Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd. He also holds directorships in several other private limited companies.
