Profesionally, he is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK), the CPA Australia and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant (USA).

Mr. Chan Wan Siew ("Mr. Chan") currently holds several key roles on board and board committees, including serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Nomination Committee at SGX-listed Audience Analytics Ltd and Chairman of Perpetual Trustees Berhad. He is the President of Business Transitions Asia Sdn Bhd and the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors (MACD), which he co-founded in 2009. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI) and serves in various advisory roles, such as Global IIRC Ambassador for the International Integrated Reporting Council, UK, ESG Exchange Advisory Committee, South Africa, FutureBoards, SA, Norway and Advisory Member to the Board of Governors of TAR University of Management & Technology.
Mr. Chan has contributed extensively to various professional bodies and NGOs and has previously served on the board of several companies, including Mycron Steel Berhad, Melewar Industrial Group Berhad, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad, Integrax Berhad, Luxchem Corporation Berhad, AwanBiru Technology Berhad and Corston-Smith Asset Management Sdn Bhd.
Mr. Chan representing the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors (MACD), played a key role as one of the eight inaugural members in the formation of the GNDI on 12 December 2012, in Wellington, New Zealand. Today, GNDI has grown to include 26 institutional members, representing over 180,000 individual members worldwide.
Mr. Chan is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of several professional bodies, such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), the Chartered Governance Institute (FCIS/FCG), and CPA Australia (FCPA). He is also a NACD Governance Fellow and Board Leadership Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors, USA, and a Life Member of Ascend Pinnacle Asian Corporate Directors, USA.
