Working Experience
Mr Khoo Lay Tatt is a Chartered Secretary (CS) and also a Chartered Governance Professional (CGP). Further, Mr Khoo was elected as a Fellow Member (FCIS) of the Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) / Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) / Chartered Secretaries Malaysia (MAICSA) in year 2015. Upon graduation, Mr Khoo started his career in May, year 1996 as a Company Secretarial Officer in the Corporate and Legal Division of a commercial bank. He left the bank as an Executive cum Company Secretary of subsidiaries of the bank in year 2000. Mr Khoo joined a Corporate Secretarial and Administrative Services firm in Penang as the Assistant Manager and left the said firm in year 2005 as a Senior Manager. During his tenure, he was involved in numerous initial public offerings and corporate exercises undertaken by listed companies. From the year 2005 to 2020, he was involved in and exposed to various industries (local and abroad) summarized as below: a) Corporate Secretarial, Accounting and Administrative Outsourcing Services; b) Design and Development, Manufacture, Assembly and Trade of Precision Engineering Parts and Components; c) Customization of Electric Motor Cores and Electric Motor Related Components and the Prototyping of Precision Tooling Sets; d) Trading of Medical Devices and Products; and e) Halal Frozen Food Processing, OEM / HORECA Food Services and its related trading activities. Since year 2020, Mr Khoo has been primarily involved in managing his personal investments.
