Mr. Gan Boon Koo @ Gan Boon Kiu previously held the position of General Manager of Finance of a manufacturing company under a conglomerate. He was the Group Accountant of a public listed trading company and has gained many years of experience in corporate finance and restructuring exercises through his attachment with several public listed companies involved in the property, trading and services and construction industries. He was appointed to the Board of OKA Corporation Berhad on 21 February 2002 as an Independent Non-Executive Director. He resigned from OKA Corporation as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committee on 31 May 2023 after having served the Company for more than 12 years in accordance with the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and Main Market Listing Requirements which was effected on 1st June 2023. He was also appointed to the Board of Sentoria Group Berhad as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 10th March 2023 and later resigned on 15th July 2023. He joined Bintang Packaging Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, a medium sized manufacturing concern as the Chief Finance Officer on 1 November 2020 overseeing the financial operations and corporate advisory of the Company.
