Working Experience
Dato' Sri has served the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for nineteen years until his early retirement in 1994. During his tenure at MITI, he was Assistant Director of the Ministry from 1975 to 1978 before serving in the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations in Geneva until 1981. Dato' Sri Mohd Haniff was then assigned as Malaysian Trade Commissioner to the Philippines for the next five years, and then to Thailand until 1991. He has also served as the Director of the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation from 1991 to 1994. Currently, he is a board member of Jerasia Capital Berhad.
