Upon completing the Japanese language course from Shukutoku Japanese Language School, Tokyo, Japan, Mr Chin Leong Choy began his career in April 2003 as a technical clerk in Minetech Construction Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Company. Subsequently, he was promoted as a project supervisor for the project of control blasting and infrastructure at Emkay Damansara and other projects. In 2005, he was transferred to Minetech Quarries Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Company, as Sales Executive. In 2006, he was transferred to K.S. Chin Minerals Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Company, as Planning and Development Executive, assisting in new quarry setup and quarry operation. In January 2007, he was appointed as Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman of the Company. While assisting the Executive Chairman in business development, he was also assigned to assist in the setting up the production plant and new business development of Minetech Korea Petroleum Industrial Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Company.

He is the son of Mr Choy Sen @ Chin Kim Sang and Madam Low Choon Lan, the Executive Chairman and Executive Director of the Company, respectively. Mr Choy Sen @ Chin Kim Sang and Madam Low Choon Lan are also the major shareholders of the Company.
