Datuk Rozimi bin Remeli obtained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1979, a Bachelor in Engineering from Northorp University, USA in 1984 and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1996.

Datuk Rozimi bin Remeli is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sarawak Cable Berhad, a position held since 11 May 2016.
He has over thirty two (32) years of extensive leadership experience in energy industry. He began his career with Tenaga Nasional Berhad ("TNB") since 1984, holding various positions until his retirement in January 2016. In 2006, he was appointed as a General Manager in the Asset Maintenance Department, Transmission Division. In 2007, he was promoted to a Senior General Manager where he was primarily responsible for effectively managing transmission project management to ensure adherence to contractual specifications, costing and timely completion.
In 2010, he was promoted to Vice President (Transmission) where he was entrusted with the overall performance of TNB transmission business which focuses on transporting electricity, managing the divisions assets and operating and maintaining the transmission network. Currently, he sits on the board of several private limited companies.
