Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.

Shaharul Rezza has over fifteen years of experience in corporate finance/fund raising and financial management. Prior to joining Bumi Armada Berhad ("BAB") in September 2005, he worked in the corporate finance department of Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd ("UTSB") for ten years. During his tenure with UTSB, he was involved in various corporate exercises such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, fund raising and equity public offerings, including take-over of Malaysian Tobacco Company Bhd (now known as MEASAT Global Berhad) and the acquisition and subsequent privatisation of BAB.
