Encik Ahmad Suhaimi began his career with a private company in 1992 before joining the Diplomatic and Administrative Service in 1995 as an Assistant Director of Industries Division in the Ministry of International Trade and Industry ("MITI"). He continued his service with the Ministry of Finance in 2003 and held various positions in several departments/divisons including Accountant General Department, Strategic Financial Management Division, Office of the Secertary General Treasury, Investment, MOF (Inc.) and Privatisation Division, Secretariat to the Tax Review Panel and Housing Loan Division. He was a Non-Independent Non-Executive Alternate Director of Pos Malaysia Berhad from 7 December 2016 to 11 March 2018. He is currently the Undersecretary of the Public Asset Management Division, Ministry of Finance.
Encik Ahmad Suhaimi is currently a Director of Port Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Perumahan Pegawai Kerajaan Sdn Bhd and Amanah Raya-REIT Managers Sdn Bhd.
