Upon graduation from the University of Sydney in 2001, Mr. Thum started his career in auditing with Deloitte, Kuala Lumpur. In 2004, he joined the Corporate Finance Department of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad and subsequently joined the Corporate Finance Department of AmInvestment Bank Berhad in 2008. During his tenure in Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad and AmInvestment Bank Berhad, he was involved in a wide range of corporate finance advisory services, including corporate restructuring, reverse take-overs, mergers and acquisitions, fund raising in equity and debt, initial public offerings and business valuation. Mr. Thum left AmInvestment Bank Berhad in 2010 and founded a business advisory firm where he currently act as a Director.
