Working Experience
He was a Federal Court Judge from June 2005 until June 2009, and has a long and distinguished record of service with the Malaysian Judiciary. He qualified as a Barristerat-Law from Inner Temple, London in July 1970 and began his service at the Magistrates Court in Klang, Selangor in August 1970. He then became Senior Federal Counsel with the Attorney General's Chambers in Kuala Lumpur in 1989. In 1994, he was appointed as chairman of the Advisory Board, Prime Minister's Department based in Taiping, Perak. He was appointed as Judicial Commissioner of High Court at Kota Bahru and Kuala Lumpur in October 1995 and January 1997 respectively. Between 1997 and 2003, he has served as Judge at the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Terengganu. This was followed with his appointment as a Court of Appeal Judge in August 2003 before being appointed as a Federal Court Judge from June 2005 until he retired from the Malaysian judiciary on 1 July 2009.
