He has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He had worked with Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional (PROTON) from 1984 to 2003 and later joined Nadicorp Holdings Sdn Bhd from 2003 to 2007 as Chief Operating Officer (Manufacturing). With his extensive experience garnered from the automotive industry particularly bus manufacturing, coach building and bus chassis assembly, he was appointed as President Director in PT Asian Auto International, Bogor, Indonesia from 2007 to 2013. He had pioneered the design, development and manufacturing of 18-metre high-floored CNG Articulated Bus (KOMODO) and received award recognition of Pioneering Technology from the President of Indonesia, His Excellency Bpk Susilo Bambang Yudhuyono.
