Cukai Makmur will not affect much on BAT. We do not look at the groups of companies as they will be taxed at an individual company level. According to the latest annual report, BAT have 3 principal offices, 1 manufacturing plant company, and 10 branches throughout Malaysia. Price @16.00 & above is reasonable, price above 22 is bonus.

And if you follow Hengyuan AGM closely, you will aware that management did stated before that the breakeven cost is around USD3 to 3.50. I'm not so worry about the usd loan, as current free cash flow for HY improving and start giving out dividend.

Every price drop is a good chance to buy in, this only apply for up trend stocks and 顺周期procyclical up trend stocks. Share price volatility, but share price will increase against longer time frame.
Why is HY share price so volatile?
As you can see from analysis of shareholdings (annual report as at 15/4/2020), HY company itself already holding 51%, another 17% hold by top 30 shareholders. Some of this top 30 shareholders remain unchanged since 2016. Some increase their holding percentage along the years. Total number of HY ordinary shares are 300,000,000. Out of 68% (204 million of ordinary shares) already hold by top 30 shareholders, and only balance of 32% or 96 millions ordinary shares contributing daily trading volumes. I strongly believe, out of this 32% ordinary shares, majority are mid to long term investors. So the price movement & selling pressure mainly due to the day traders.

HRC's complex oil refinery in Port Dickson has a licensed production capacity of 156,000 barrels per day. The major operating units in the refinery consist of two crude distillers, a long residue catalytic cracker (LRCCU), two naptha treaters and a merox plant, two reformers and a gasoil treatment plant. It also produces a comprehensive range of petroleum products including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, fuel oil components, and chemical feedstocks like light naphtha and propylene. Approximately 85 percent of these refined products are sold in Malaysia.

Our products are predominantly distributed using the multiproduct pipeline (MPP) to the Klang Valley Distribution Terminal (KVDT) and the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). We also despatch products via road to more local users and via sea to more remote Malaysia locations including Sabah and Sarawak. Our significant customers for main fuels are Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd, with whom we have entered into a 10 year term Product Offtake Agreement (POA), securing our sales of gasoline, aviation fuel and diesel in the country. This POA commenced in 2016.

Products such as propylene and light naphtha are exported out of Malaysia to be used as chemical plant feedstock and a portion of our LPG is exported to end users. In addition, we import gasoline components such as MTBE and additional LRCCU feedstock when the economics are favourable.

I triggered my last bullet on HY today, luckily not fly so much today,my average cost @5.10 now. I should have buy last few day at 5.6x but I was waiting more confirmation from OPEC meeting. Yesterday OPEC meeting gave a very strong momentum for oil price to move further up in next level. This year will be a good year for HY and oil related stocks. Do monitor on crack spread price if you want to invest in HY. At current stage, I only confident in HY as the next few quarters profit assurance guarantee. I'll hold HY until one fold from my cost. As a rational investor, we may confident with our decision and not influence by the daily price fluctuation. Happy investing.

@Bullrunrun, if you lost trust in China companies, you will miss out many good oportunities. I'm not referring to those penny stock listed in Malaysia. Don't limited yourself in Bursa. Hong Kong exchange have many good companies as well with low valuation. Many China companies are good fundamental and investment target. HengYuan and Topglove are totally different type of company to compare with. You have to understand the characteristic of the industry and business model. I strongly believe this year is the good time to invest in HengYuan and HKEX listed China companies. Happy investing :)

Last month momentum not success to breakout 0.67. Let's try this round, I believe it can breakout 0.68 and shortterm TP 0.78 (about 19% upside).

Don't talk so good about BAT, those who see the potential already parked in their funds here. Let the EPS each quarter do the talking. I prefer the price growth 15 to 20% each quarter. But obviously, price below 16 still undervalue GEM. Price range 16 to 22 is reasonable, above 22 is outperform bonus.
