We refer to the announcements dated 31 March 2014, 4 April 2014, 14 April 2014, 21 April 2014, 22 April 2014 and 15 May 2014 in relation to the Subdivision and Bonus Issue.

On behalf of the Board of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad (“CMSB”), Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that based on the entitlement date of 26 June 2014:
the number of Subdivided Shares to be listed and quoted on 27 June 2014 is 690,840,280 Subdivided Shares pursuant to the Subdivision; and
the number of Bonus Shares to be listed and quoted on 27 June 2014 is 345,420,140 new Subdivided Shares pursuant to the Bonus Issue after the Subdivision.

For information purposes, the enlarged issued and paid-up ordinary share capital of CMSB will be 1,036,260,420 Subdivided Shares as at 26 June 2014 pursuant to the Subdivision and Bonus Issue.

once again 4u2c we have a worry about the Real Property Gains Tax(RPGT) that may inpose in coming budget which is 15% presently if you sell your property within 2 years which is for the sale of houses in the secondary market.The House Buyers Association or something to the effect is recommending increase to 25% and extend to 3 years.Anyway this just a propose hope this will not happen soon otherwise will be another worry for the stock

when the ex-date of bonus issue the price will adjusted about 25% down due to bonus issue u got extra 1 share for every 3 share u holding before ex-date and as per proposed entitle date is about mid of october pks correct me if i wrong

yup but the price will adjust accordingly too, for the moment just see some extra share for long term then will see the benefit of this bonus issue
