With the recovery of steel bar prices from an average of RM1,443 per MT in January 2016 to RM2,192 per MT in January 2017 which amounts to a price surge of 50%, this has enabled the Company to operate profitably and with more installed rebar rolling capacities becoming available this year, the revenue of the Company is expected to be improved upon in the coming quarters .

The persistently higher prices of raw materials for steelmaking such as iron ore, coking coal and scrap will ensure steel bars prices remain firm with an expected fluctuation within a narrow range of 10% for the next few months.

The Company expects to improve its sales volume to East Malaysia due to the mega infrastructure projects in the next 5 years. In addition, with the favorable exchange rate between RM and USD, the Company's products will be exported to new customers in the Oceania countries.

Global demand for data storage remains relatively stable.

During the quarter under review, the market for SSDs experienced some tightening due to shortages in supply, resulting in upward pressure on PC prices, and limited delivery of enterprise SSDs. These conditions are expected to prevail over the near term.

For HDDs, the Total Addressable Market totaled 111.4 million units driven by higher shipments to mobile and PC desktops against a modest reduction in enterprise HDDs and a sharp seasonal drop in game console HDD shipments.

Overall, we expect continued healthy demand for HDDs and will focus on improving our delivery quantities and market share.

The Group expects the International Islamic University Malaysia Foundation Center project to be completed by May 2017 and will be expecting the revenue from Availability Charges and Asset Management Services beginning from third quarter 2017. Un addition, earnings of the Group is expected to improve based on the contribution from Sungai Besi Ulu Kelang Highway project 2017

1. 5月15日，KNM Process系統有限公司至今獲頒總值2315萬4890美元(約9331萬令吉)訂單，合約為期約16至18個月。
2. 5月20日，子公司KNM加工系统私人有限公司获颁4300万美元(约1.75亿令吉)合约期限为20个月，在丹绒朗沙(Tanjung Langsat)港口兴建一座厂房。
3. 手中合约订单为28亿令吉，而年初至6月间，公司爭取到的新合约达4亿零500万令吉，可支未来2年的业绩表现。
4. 从明年开始，科恩马(KNM.7164.主板工业产品股)的再生能源业务，将在未来5年内，为公司提供70%的经常性收入。2016年第四季开始营运，预料每年为公司带来1700万令吉至2700万令吉的净利。
5. 科恩马在英国彼得伯勒(Peterborough)的再生能源厂，将在2018年后带来经常性收入。而Peterborough发电项目每年有可能获利高达5000万令吉。
6. 美元走强对该公司的影响不大，虽然该公司的营收主要是以美元计价，但在劳力成本和原料价格上形成了自然对冲。
