In a way, it is better that less shares are held by these funds so that it will be more diluted among more shareholders. Then, less volatility and pressure on price downwards when lower volume sold. Less pump & dump, etc.

You are correct. A lower denominator of 4.22 price results in a higher 2.36 % return compared to a higher denominator of 4.50 price resulting in a lower return of 2.22 % return.
So, a lower price of 4.22 will yield a higher return of 2.36 %.

vanbasten9 Jeremy Grantham is indeed intelligent and I watched 1 of his videos admonishing caution abt stock euphoria, etc. He did not specifically say the stk mkt will decline in 2021.
Quick take here, he advises people to look at emerging mkts, low price stks, low growth stks, dividend paying stks, etc.

PBB is now priced relatively reasonable and even low in comparison with other financial stks going foward. PBB's customer profile and portfolio together with its prods/services packages presents greater opportunities going foward. It is, perhaps, the most defensive bank with enough provisions to weather crises and possible OPR cuts.
The point is PBB is prepared because they have been prudent since the founding. Banks are the foundation and cornerstone of the finance of a country. No country will allow banks to go down. Banks keep the country moving and growing.
It is like if you don't eat. How long can you not eat and stay alive.

@stevee, A good side diversion, you have abt bitcoin; however, I wonder how transferable and liquidable is this coin, many exchanges have been hacked etc. leaving losses. So, while it looks great, risks may be greater. Riskier than rewards put it in the HIGH Risks, High Rewards category.

PBB shareholders may want to know that EPF holds abt 3 Billion shares of PBB. 3 BILLION Shares!
That's a big amount of shares. So, if it sells 1m, 10m, or even 20m, it is an extremely small amt and percentage of 3 Billion shares. You can divide it & determine that it is a small amt of their PBB shareholding. On the other hand, EPF still holds an average of 15+ % of PBB shares consistently.
