@Caveman, as per study, this company is planning on transfer from ACE market to Main Market. That's why it's keeping bullet to make that happened. As the requirement for Trading / Services Main Market is profits of 30 million for 5 F.Y. and 8 million for latest F.Y.

This could be happened in very soon, if the next quarter report show 6.7million profit.

Any "Bonus" or "Dividend" has the same effect that the trading price on the ex-date is reduced.

In addition, Bonus Issue 1:1 translate into: buy one free one before ex-date; 50% discount after ex-date.

1. Share Split 2:1 scenario: means you get 2(two) RM0.50 coin in exchange for 1(one) RM1.00 note. Share trading price drop 50%.
2. Bonus Issue 1:1 scenario: the share trading price drop 50%, and your share amount doubled; instead of giving you bonus in cash / cheque.

Combining both of above, total shares increase 4x, total trading price drop 1/2 twice. In total, no gain no lose.

But with smaller portion, trading can be done more easier. (Just imagine if you pay for a glass of teh tarik at mamak stall with an RM10.00 bank note is much more easier than with an RM100 bank note)

metta, I think RM0.50 per RCPS is valid for the whole first year. And possible with 2 cents dividend p.a (If amprop is making money and does not redeem your RCPS within the first year).

sephiroth, there won't be any movement of the RCPS within the first year as amprop have the right to redeem them, before holders can covert them 1st anniversary onward. So, the trading at 0.55-0.60 only possible by then.
