They aren't the only supplier in the market. That is why their margins are sooooo very thin.


probability if gloves avg selling price can rise by 15% to 20%, cant the chemical used in small quantities rise by 10%?

the chemicals are like spices used in small quantity for the bulk beef rendang (gloves) they make..

even 20% rise in chemicals price wont affect glove manufacturers cost...but it matters a lot for Luxchem

just work out the bottom line implication with such margin rise and see with 30% higher sales volume

People who don't understand the financials will panic sell and I am waiting to cash in on this counter again. I was buying and selling from 35 sen all the way to 60, 63 sen. Nice profit Taking impairment is not wrong.

Result is no good but not so bad. This is one-time ‘Non Cash’ impairment on Property, Plant and equipment. Under accounting rules, this has to be recognized as losses. Exclude this item, company still making 4mil+ during MCO. Buy more if panic sell on Monday...

Today so many got trapped chasing.

KUALA LUMPUR (May 15): MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd will cease to be the sponsor of medical equipment provider LKL International Bhd with effect from tomorrow (May 16, 2020), as LKL has successfully maintained the services of a sponsor for at least three financial years since its listing. This is in accordance with Bursa Malaysia listing rules.

"On behalf of the board of directors of LKL, MIDF is pleased to inform that the company has successfully complied with Rule 3.21(1) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa, whereby an applicant must secure and maintain the services of a sponsor for at least 3 full financial years after its admission to the official list of Bursa.

"Therefore, MIDF shall cease to act as the sponsor of the company with effect from May 16, 2020,” MIDF said in LKL’s filing with Bursa today.

LKL’s Bursa filings indicate that the company was listed on the ACE Market on May 16, 2016. LKL’s initial public offering (IPO) involved a public issue of 113 million new shares at 20 sen each, the filings showed.

Alliance Investment Bank Bhd was the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and placement agent for LKL’s IPO then, according to LKL.

On July 15, 2019, LKL said the company and Alliance had come to a mutual agreement on the resignation of Alliance as the sponsor of LKL with effect from July 16, 2019.

"In replacement thereof, MIDF had been appointed as the new sponsor of the company with effect from July 16, 2019,” LKL said

For a company that makes 700 to 800 million is sales, 35 million PBT is really nothing to shout about. If the speculation is that they are supplying this and that to the glove makers well the financials will show. Otherwise, ..... They aren't the only supplier of chemicals used by the glove makers. The margins show it.

The reason TopGlove, Harta, Kossan and Supermax are badly affected is because sound business. HLT, Carepls all moving because of the perceived demand. Why price gyration? Too many people jumping in newbies alike and getting burnt. Look at yesterday's volume 9 billion!!!!! We need to have correction before moving up again. It is too hot at present.
