Fash. I agree. There r times where we just have to make a stand, call it quit and move on. Anyway, money lost can be earned back elsewhere. There are many other opportunities out there.

Although recovering the losses might take time, but I believe each indvidual will have their lucky day.

Fash. Im holding 420 lots@ Rm6 plus. If i sell, i immediately lose my capital. Now is paper loss. But if i sell is a realised loss which is hard to earn back.

Since this money for me is extra. For my son education, i still can keep for another 10 years before i need the money. If not ill keep forever and just take dividend and pass it to my son when im not around.

Cant help it. Sometimes market goes south and the stock cannot recover due to weaker company growth and potential.

Even if we have patience, not necessary it will recover. So depend on ur strategy whether to take the chance or exit.

If u have set a cut loss price please do so. Unless u have confident that it will go up soon.

Do i regret buying at a high price last time? Its a definite yes. But since i cannot predict the future, i will just have to accept that luck is not on my side.

Just follow ur gut feelings. If u think by selling now u can buy back at 50 - 60 cents lower then u should. But if it dont materialised we just have to accept that luck is not in our favour.

Yea, no matter what shares u buy must have holding power. Those who panic are traders not investors. They speculate and sell about 5-10 cents higher and panic when it drops 5 cents.

@ wantousek , Some of my frens expect the warrant to be at 40 sen tmr. But i think its too high. And im not waiting to convert it. So just sell and make profit now. Profit on hand is so much btr than taking risk. I expect the warrant to be pushed down soon. But who knows, maybe it will go up as predicted by my frens.

Airpoints: Dont get me wrong, TF did say that they will announce Special Dividend in Q4. But i dont think the quantum will be 75sen. It will be lower. This 75sen is mentioned only by research houses. But if u read carefully its just their assumption that if they pay out all the proceeds then it will translate to 75 sen.

The reason why i dont think AA is going to pay out all is becoz:

- Higher fuel prices. Affecting their profit. They need to reserve some cash for working capital.
- Capex for short term is also needed for their Philippines AA since IPO has been postponed till next year.
- They also need cash to expand their red cargo and red logistics which will be their main focus of the group in years to come.

Alot of ppl here buying is solely becoz of the special dividend. Which is mere speculation.

If u ask me, i do think this company's fundamental is good. But only when the oil prices stablised and fear of EM and trade war subsides then only fundamental will kick in.

But it wont be my choice of stock now as generally, airlines stocks across the globe is trading in the same pattern.

Please trade carefully. Generally Sept is a hard month to trade. This round its even harder with the external noises.

U may wanna lock in ur position if it reaches ur target, but bear in mind it might also go lower. So whatever ur target is u must be confident with it. I am strongly against jumping in for short term gain.

I agree that US China trade war will affect the oil price in the long run. But it wont happen this year.

Should be on uptrend. Since special dividend is practically confirmed by TF announcement. Alot will rush in to accumulate at this low price for long term. Furthermore this year financial will be the best with all the monetisation of their sub businesses.

I agree with shrobin. Since there is potential growth just keep. Look long term. Actually u dont need to wait long b4 the push upwards. Just the news that AAC concluded in Nov will drive investors crazy. Another 3 - 4 months to go.
