All warrants will drop to around 0% premium the nearer to the exercise date it is. So the 83% premium (C1F) will go down to 0% at some point and warrant is more likely to trade downwards then a warrant with a lower premium.

Usually warrants have a positive premium, ie it is more expensive to buy the warrant than to buy the mother. Some premiums for Supermax warrants are extremely high. These warrants you can not keep until expiry as they will be worthless. Example C1F, premium is 83%. Exercise value is 17.5, mother is now at 10.76.

Simply said, it is cheaper to buy the warrant then to buy the mother if the premium is negative.

You need to be very careful if you are holding a warrant with a high positive premium.
