I disagreed on this as gloves no longer a chase but buying at rock bottom. Top Glove and Supermax already a penny stock now. How low more can it goes in comparison to when they were trading above RM3-4 one year ago. This is the good time to accumulate slowly for the rebound and growth in 2024-2025.

For palm oil, just can hope for better dividend play and maybe some price appreciation. To appreciate as in Feb-Mar would be a challenge as the CPO price seem to have stabilize and wont rebound aggressively like what happened during Q1 plus the recession fear still lingering. Can TSH up to RM2? Possible if TSH starts to give good dividends for quarters to come and maintain 80-100 mil profit for the next 3-4 quarters.

TSH boss been buying for years FYI and the share price remain pathetic. Dont be surprise if the boss and its bro offer MGO of RM1.3 to take TSH private. Malaysia tycoons love to do that to ensure all the profits enter their own pocket while all the losses shared with the public

Fundamental only work and correlate well in mature and big market like in the US and HK. Not in tiny market in Malaysia.

Technical would always beat fundamental in Bursa market. Just keep that in mind if you are wondering why TSH is performing so badly in its share price even though it is profiting from its business.

Dont fight the trend. Whatever gain from land sales wont help TSH. Just refer back to previous profit of rm102 mil. Once results out, TSH dropped from 1.45 to 0.92 non stop for 2 months. So you can guess when the next result out, TSH would maintain below RM1 if lucky. Else, it may drop from Rm1 to 0.8 non stop again.

keep your cash and buy something else. If come August and CPO sales and price up, then can start to nimble as most festive celebration happening in Q4 and Q1. For the remaining few weeks, forget bout TSH. You can always buy cheap TSH come mid Aug - end Sept.

TSH is already a lost cause. Been downtrend for 3 months continuously. Can't even have any technical rebound, not to mention breached its 52 weeks low. The only thing that can save it is CPO price up back to 6000 which is impossible. Any great results wont help it as it is not sustainable but just one off gain. To save the ego, TSH has to declare a high dividend at the least to reward the bruised shareholders.

Meaning the buyers yet to have high inventory. The high inventory is at the sellers side due to the ban and now delayed further by procedural and logistic issues. CPO price downtrend isn't reflecting the actual situation. Traders are justifying on the sellers inventory but not on the buyers inventory. Buyers are now waiting for as low as possible due most festive seasons only happen in Q4 and Q1 which would consume higher palm oil.

GAPKI said Indonesia exported just 678,000 tonnes of palm oil in May, down 77% from the same month in 2021.

Under normal circumstances, Indonesia usually exports between 2.5 million and 3 million tonnes each month.

That doesnt mean anything if no big funds selling but retailers are selling. Unless you are saying that the big funds have been successful to cause panic to the retailers to sell low to them. Looking at the total volumes for the past 1 month, it was low except for 14th June and 6th July.

When a counter becomes hot and lot for discussion, it s only have two reasons:
1. Ppl is excited of the potential and looking forward to price uptrend if the price is at rock bottom.
2. Ppl is depressed and looking to short the counter if the price is at peak.

TSH happened to be at rock bottom price now and yet generated lot of interests. So it s probably just waiting for the next wave of uptrend when the operators are full.

Calvin, IOI did not mention must buy TSH. TSH could have 5% chance if we are looking at 20 potential companies to be shortlisted. Btw, I recalled IOI boss did mention they are not interested for plantations in Indonesia.

Not all plantation counters are selling at the same future contract price. The past 2 quarters, the ASP for TSH was around RM4300++ (Q4 2021) and RM4700++ (Q1 2022) as it would take times to pass the higher selling price to the buyers before fulfilling the previous ones.

TSH is now back to its hibernation officially. Based on past, once it back to this level, it would hibernate for years. Easily 3 years. Retailers would be panic now and keep selling which would make it worst. The spiral of death as some named it. Lowest price ever since Jan 2022. Whoever bought in Jan are all being flushed out now or left holding the bag as most would panic that they need to wait for 3 years. If not pressed by IBs to cover their warrants and not pressed by short selling for profit, then who's in the right mind pressing down for what? The only remaining reason as I shared earlier -> accumulation at lowest price possible by manipulating the price. How to know? High volumes of both sell Q and buy Q but actual matched transaction is low. They have cornered the price to ensure you only sell lower to them and also only buy higher from them as well. No other ways.

Thanks. Q2 2022 is not out yet. So, 2022 results thus far should be 1st quarter 2022.

From here you can see that the lowest valuation was in Jan 2019 when CPO price was at 2169. Why? looking at the annual profit of 2018 (FYE Dec 2018), it was at RM40.099M 2nd lowest if compare to losses made in 2015.

Now in 2022, the CPO price is highest and the annual profit is still the highest, but the share price is at the lowest as if this is in 2019 situation. In conclusion, the market now is valuing TSH as if it is making the lowest profit with lowest CPO price. Logical or manipulation?
