Koon used to promote plantation as well in 2015/2016 if not mistaken. That time he was also claiming about valuation per hectare. Next, we know, all the plantation masuk longkang. Whatever cheap valuation per hectare is con job. If the company have no good yields due to the soil or less rain/fertilizer or the trees are old, all the hectares are meaningless.

US isnt a key market for Palm oil as they consume mostly other vegetable oils to protect the North America and EU vege oils market. The key palm oil consumers would be China, India and Pakistan. Middle east n Central Asia would be the upcoming key markets when they switch to Palm Oil.

Do note for the quarter result for Oct-Dec 2021, most probably the average selling CPO price was around rm4000 per metric tonne as TSH needs time to adjust the selling price due to hedging and contractual terms. Hence TSH yet to reflect the CPO price of above rm5000. Do expect TSH to report higher profit in Q1 and Q2 2022 and mostly Q3 too even if CPO price starts to normalize by then.
