I do observe that you are a strong promotor of Sumatec in many forums....

You may go to Suma websites and Bursa announcements to know what they are doing..., They are a contractor to collect service charge/work done or fees basing on the output derived thereof..... like a Alibaba business collecting tolls by providing staffs for the collections...

So now they are copying Sona's footsteps to propose to buy Assets of RM900 millions but with less than RM40 millions Cash on hands.... more over, just look at the first Qtr Financial report with a mere 0.12 sens or RM 0.0012 EPS......, with PN17 status still intact,.... .. now with company shares closes to 5 billions , and with more PP and upcoming Right issues , very soon Sumatec will join the 10 billion share Club lor.....

No solid and proven data for future profits projections are available, just basing on talking and talking only,.. But unfortunately they are Not Yellen or Draghi from Fed or ECB respectively....

I classify Suma now is another "Goreng" counter

they will be staying with my Babe's mum initially and we will enroll them in the Int. School.

U.S. stocks resumed a selloff, wiping out yesterday’s rebound and sending benchmark indexes to the lowest levels since May, as energy shares tumbled and concern increased over escalating tensions in Ukraine.

Oil tumbles further as anticipated , as the Dollars strengthened as the base Bank interests in US may be raised sooner than expected.

FJ, I will go to the North next week on some business trip and may get necessary papers ready to bring 3 kids back to KL.... will chat with you later, Until then, be happy and live our life to its fullest everyday .....

Mulpha is not my investment- grade stock, as the Directors have not added much value to the company, the accumulated earnings is reducing to even below 300 millions as compared to share holder value at near 1100 millions after more than 10 years of operations,,and with straight losses over 3 past Financial years, I view that records as unacceptable.

My definition for Investment-grade Stock must fulfil the followings:-
1) Immediate past 4 QTR must have positive growth and EPS are trending higher up consecutively
2) last 3- 5 years must have growth exceeding 20%,
3) PE/Growth =PEG which must be below 1.
Counters like Insas, L&G, Mahsing,Ptaras,......... are some of my picks here...
Pls do note that this is not a Buy/Sell Call lor......

0.7000 is a strong bar for BIMB-WA, basing on the 38.2% Fibo (0%=0.570, 100% =0.9000),and also a structural resistance near 0.6900 Chart- wise. RSI/STOCH/MACD are still slightly bullish, EW wave not clear yet...

Investors are looking to today’s U.S. payrolls report as they speculate over the timeline for Federal Reserve interest-rate increases after faster-than-estimated economic and wage growth. The International Swaps & Derivatives Association will meet at 11 a.m. New York time to determine whether credit-default swaps linked to Argentina have been triggered by a failure-to-pay credit event. A final reading of European factory output for July came in lower than economists had anticipated, while Chinese manufacturing expanded.

“As U.S. figures are so good recently, the possibility for an early interest rate rise is getting higher,” said Richard Fu, director of Asian commodity trading at Newedge Group SA in London. “The figures from the U.S. and China are good but the U.S. stock market has risen so much for so long and profit-taking pressure is mounting.”

（吉隆坡31日訊）喬治肯特（GKENT,3204,主板貿服組）當前正競標著總值100至150億令吉的建築合約，當中包含捷運（MRT）二號線工程項目，同時有意重新進軍油氣領域。
喬治肯特主席丹斯里陳溪福在席股東大會後向媒體透露，在該集團所競標的約150億令吉項目中，有超過100億令吉是屬於鐵路項目，而水務基建設施項目則佔20億至30億令吉。
該集團現有的訂單量超過10億令吉，並冀望可在未來3年內達到50億令吉的水平。
此前毫無鐵路工程經驗的喬治肯特，於2012年8月與獅子太平洋（Lion Pacific）組成財團獲得國家基建公司頒發安邦輕快鐵（LRT）延長工程，備受市場爭議。
該公司獲得的10億8千萬延長線合約，現在已經完成三分一的工程。
在歷時兩年後，陳溪福直言喬治肯特如今已經是國內首要的鐵路系統承包商。在鐵路項目方面，該集團主要專注於軌道機件、通訊、電源以及訊號等系統工程。
探討重新進軍油氣業
另一方面，除了喬治肯特現有的水錶製造以及建築業務以外，該集團也正在探討重新進軍油氣領域的機會，鎖定的業務範圍為提供服務工程技術。
該公司之前有參與油氣業的零件供應，銷售油氣閥和代碼泵。
他說：“油氣業是非常振奮的行業，所以我們有意進軍，但我們必須選擇正確的空間和正確的目標才行事。”
無論如何，陳溪福拒絕透露目前是否有在與任何一方進行相關的洽談。
水錶製造業務方面，陳溪福指該集團已作出投資研發智能水錶與聚合物水錶等新產品。此外，喬治肯特亦在探討擴大海外市場範圍。目前該集團的水錶共出口至海外40個國家，包括東盟、南美、共和聯邦等國家。
憑藉上述的擴充計劃，陳溪福預計旗下的水錶製造營業額將在未來2至3年內，從現有的約1億令吉達到5倍的增長。
陳溪福表示喬治肯特在來臨還是會專注於現有的專長領域，並對集團的未來感到非常樂觀。
他說：“過去10年，我們的盈利平均每年成長20%；股息方面，過去5年每年增加40%；這些數字讓董事部感到驕傲。”
喬治肯特在當天召開的股東大會中，成功獲得股東通過紅股建議，以3送1比例派送7510萬2542股紅股。
重估盈餘2970萬
另外，喬治肯特為旗下位於蒲種的廠房以及巴布亞新幾內亞的產業單位進行重估，重估後市值共達1億零32萬令吉，較原有賬面價格多出2千970萬令吉的盈餘。（星洲日報／財經）
