Allow me to re-write from what I understand from @Sslee's explanation :

If you still hold 60,000 AA mother shares on ex-date Dec1,
on Dec 3 you will automatically get 20,000 AA-OR in your CDS account.

This AA-OR will be listed and traded in KLSE on Dec 3 till Dec 10.
These AA-OR entitles you to buy RCUIDS (with free Warrants) for RM0.750 each.

So, if you don't want to pay another RM0.750 for each AA-OR to get the RCUIDS+free warrants, you can sell your AA-OR in the market between Dec 3 and Dec 10.

If you don't sell your AA-OR and still hold it after Dec 10, then you will have to pay RM0.750 for each AA-OR in order to get your RCUIDS+ free warrants.

Novice-noobies-with-no-money-contra player will only look at the daily chart and say the stock is down from 0.355.
Seasoned investors invest will longer term horizon and see the stock has risen from 0.200 three months ago to 0.335 today. That's a 67.5% return in just three months. A half-sen drop in a day doesn't bother us at all.
Don't bother reading or commenting on his comments. He's just a little kiddo seeking attention.
And for the noobie-daily-trader, go play and disturb other speculative stocks' thread. This thread is for real investors. You're just making yourself look foolish in here. Peace.

@LohNewbie : Correct. In other words, the management must know that the value of SCOPE shares will be much higher than 30sen in the future, otherwise nobody will exercise the warrants. And if nobody exercise it, what's the point of issuing the warrants, because they're given for free. The only way for them to raise more capital from this exercise is by getting the warrant holders to exercise it.

Agree with you BursaHodler. This counter is for real investors, not short term speculators. No share price go up in a straight line. It will fluctuate up and down, but seasoned investors look at the long term trend and growth of the business. Glad to have people like you among us. :)

My guess : company may need to raise fund to finance this huge project. Not surprised if company wants to do a share placement exercise. Share price will normally rise prior to the exercise. But that's just my guess. I'm holding on to my tickets. :)

Market in general is waiting for BNM's announcement on OPR this Wednesday. Widely BNM is expected to make another cut.
