Cost cutting is not because of smaller margin, it is because of scope reduced. double track to single track, by right should be way way cheaper but since the chinese got "pocket" to feed, they cant reduce margin. If ECRL dont proceed. Nobody will buy Malaysia's palm oil. China will declare trade war with Malaysia. So Mahathir have to take care of our relationship with China but at a more sustainable project cost. 101% will proceed as chinese workers are already coming in through Kuantan port and to their own Great Wall of China in Pahang.

Reason being Econpile run faster than others is mainly due to their market dominance in piling sector. Why other construction firms run slower is because there are more competition for building/infrastructure companies. Also Econpile were hit by a bad 1 time off quarter results which are due to political reasons making the company so much more delicious.

I can also guarantee ECRL 100% moving, just waiting for Mahathir to sign only.

I think Mflour is good defensive stock as people still need to eat despite bad times, population will only increase. I think our current play in malaysia is construction, very hot at the moment and please dont miss the boat deal all. Come back here when everything is overbought.
