From my analysis in terms of oil price impact:

Q4 2018 should not be a problem for AA as the average oil price for Q4 2018 was considered low.

As for 1H 2019 (Q1+Q2), remember that AA has already hedged around 50% at approx $64. Given AA capability, i am sure that they had already hedged the remaining 50% at a price much lower than $60 when the oil price drop below that. From their past QR, the average oil price for 2018 1H was around $85. So even if the oil price go up to $70, it is still lower than last year's price of 85. Imagine with a price of $60.

So i think their hedging strategy will start to pay off, especially in 1H 2019.
