I will hold my shares until 28 Feb 2024.
At this moment, the volume is still the same as yesterday. If can breakout from RM4.70 convincingly, the sky is the limit. Look at YTLPOWER now. All forecast target prices are broken.

A false breakout of 4.70. Now drop back to 4.67/4.68.

Genting is still sleeping. So boring. Analyst gives high target price also no use. Pang72 now in WCEHB and YTLPOWER. He has left Genting. Last time he keeps on shouting RM6.95.

I sort of seeing that our KLCI keeps on going up. Now very close to the month of February 2024 where majority of the listed companies will report their quarterly earnings. Genting is in the KLCI and it is a recovery stock from the Covid-19 pandemic, it is expected to show an excellent 4th quarter results. Free visas for China and India tourists is an additional bonus. I strongly believe that Genting will climb above RM5.00 by 28 February 2024, just like YTLPOWER has successfully climbed above RM3.00 to RM3.10 before profit taking set in for it to close at RM3.00.

The share price of YTLPower moves up north so strongly can be due to the followings :-
1.) Foreign funds are buying very aggressively.

True enough the premium for KGB-WB has turned negative (-0.45%). Now can buy KGB-WB and convert to mother share if the negative becomes more negative.

Today volume is only 6,585,800. The first contract win in Nov 2023 has a volume of 8 times of today's volume. Hope for the best tomorrow. We do not know what the operators will do.

Looks like the share market is having a bull run. YTLPOWER up 23 sen, YTL up 9 sen, PBA up 12 sen (from red at 1.70) KGB up 8 sen.

@Ben0303, unexpectedly I bought at the limit up price of RM1.21. I also hope there is going to be another limit up tomorrow at RM1.57. After the second limit up, I also hope that the day after tomorrow will stay at RM1.57. (cannot have limit up for three consecutive days).

@Master, there is no second limit up in the second session, right.

Every time Calvintaneng, is in this forum, KGB will spike. It is still true today. Up 7 sen in the morning session. Never mind about KGB-WB (only up 2 sen).

If we were to study EDARAN net profit for FY2023/24 (RM,000), Q2 2023: 1,283; Q3 2023: 654; Q4 2023: 1,059; Q1 2024: 271, it is nothing specticular. It is up to the operator to manipulate the share price.

@Master: One trading day, only one time limit up. Got to wait for tomorrow (4.1.2024) to see how. If tomorrow second limit up, it will be RM1.57 but I do not think it can have second limit up. If tomorrow no limit up, then can trade between RM1.21 and RM1.57.

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 2): Edaran Bhd has secured a RM356.56 million contract to provide hardware and software rental services to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, its Bursa Malaysia filing showed on Tuesday.

The technology company said its wholly-owned Edaran IT Services Sdn Bhd secured the 48-month contract from the Ministry of Finance (MOF), and that the letter of award was accepted on Tuesday.

“Proceeds from the contract shall contribute towards the earnings of the group for the financial year ending June 30, 2024 (FY2024) until June 30, 2028 (FY2028),” it said.
Edaran’s substantial shareholders are Valiant Chapter Sdn Bhd, with a 23.8% stake, Kauthar Sdn Bhd (8.17%) and Unique Pyramid (7.93%).

Valiant Chapter is wholly-owned by Zamri Samsuddin, while Unique Pyramid is owned by Ruzila Ab Kadir, according to checks with the Companies Commission Malaysia.

Kauthar, meanwhile, is 95%-owned by Edaran’s founder, previously prominent corporate figure Tan Sri Tajudin Ramli, while the remaining 5% is held by his spouse Puan Sri Faridah Abdullah. Tajudin’s son, Fazlan Azri Tajudin, sits on the company’s board as an executive director.

I unexpectedly bought 46,500 shares at limit up price of RM1.21.

No chance to buy. Opening at limit up price of 1.21.

@Master, Edaran all time high is only RM1.20. Edaran 52 week high is only RM1.06.

Tomorrow morning (3 Jan 2034) I will buy some. This share I gain once and lost once. In November 2023, when it went up from 60 sen to 80 sen, I gained. But when it dropped from RM1.05 to 95 sen, I lost. This is a very risky share due to its small float. Cannot hold for long term like MYEG. Can U turn very fast.

The last time Calvintaneng were here on 22 Dec 2023, it spiked up 25 sen. Tomorrow (2 Jan 2024), it should spike up again.

Why every trading day, Genting go down. Is it due to Covid 19? I don't think so.

Hopeless share. Begin 2024 in deep red.

Instead of moving down due to high net short, it goes up. Feel relieve.

@Ravi1969: Good to have an investor same like me regarding KGB-WB. Mr Ooi Teik Bee is holding both KGB and KGB-WB. He mentioned that he will include KGB-WB in the I3investor portfolio competition.

@cgtan2020, should I sell first then only buy back at a lower price? My average is RM0.79. Now RM0.81.

Dear cgtan2020, I need a quick advise before market opens. Is it that KGB will fall first (due to the high net short), then it will reboud to new high.

@cgtan2020 : TQ for your opinion. I am just holding only RM25,000 KGB-WB shares. Adding the rest, it is only RM50,000. I am just a tiny anchovy (ikan bilis). Dare not play big. Money in fixed deposits cannot touch. If touch, divorce is the consequences.

@Kicapmanis: KGB-WB is now only having a premium 0.93% compared to the mother share. It will only expired on 24/07/2026 (935 days). KGB-WB should have a higher premium since the expiring date is so long away. The trouble is the mother share one bid is 1 sen but for KGB-WB one bid is only half a sen.

Another 50% are in YTL, YTLPOWER, MCEMENT and HUMEIND.

@cgtan2020, I am same as Mr Ooi Teik Bee. 50% of my money is in KGB-WB. I do not own KGB mother share.

Today (28.12.2023), KGB and KGB-WB closed unchanged at RM2.15 and 0.78 respectively. The WB only has only a premium of 0.47%, making it under value.

Morning (28.12.2023): Still moving downwards with low volume. Got to be patient until mid February 2024.

For the mother share KGB, hopefully the operator will make stay steady at RM2.15 or move up slightly to uncharted territory.

After yesterday sell-off, the premium of KGB-WB becomes 0.47%. A warrant which only expired in 24/7/2026 (938 days) cannot have such a low premium. If the premium turns negative, then many investors will convert it to mother share. Let's see today (28.12.2023) on how the operators will adjust the price of KGB-WB.

@Travisbravis, Today KGB-WB dropped 0.015 to RM0.78, making its premium to almost 0. Hopefully, for the last two trading days, the operator will adjust the KGB-WB to a fair price with higher premium (expired in 2026, still so long away).

At this moment my portfolio concists of KGB (50%), YTL (10%), YTLPOWER (10%), MCEMENT (10%) and HUMEIND (10%). Hope that many participants will pick KGB in the I3investor portfolio competition, with initial closing price of the last day of 2023.

I have sold 100% of my Genting Berhad shsres with satisfied profit. I sold Genting due to the spread of Covid-19 varient JN.1. I, my husband and daughter were covid positive on 15 December 2023. It took 10 days for us to recover completely.

I have to choose a new share for my portfolio to replace Genting Berhad. And so happened that www.tradingview.com filter the best share under ALL TIME HIGH and it shows KGB. Today morning (27 December 2023 7 am), I am still feeling slight nervousness on how the operator wants to close the financial calender of 2023. Hope it can close at record high on 29 December 2023.
