NIIS has not been awarded yet whether Dsonic or any other bidders has been informed.I think Dsonic stand a good chance
The bid is huge and likely to split into few successful bidders in view of current political scenerio. S5 is dark horse in the bid as well as per Focus report.
Just my 2 cent view.

If you have taken up the shares why in a hurry to sell at 8.5?. I think it will come once they have cleared all the weak holders unless you are one

Think Dato bought some shares for investment not major enough to be reported as key shareholders. basically bought for short term trading.
If you go to Mtouche forum, you click the last insider trading under market buzz, you could see his name . stake is not high.
possibly not a strategic shareholder like VC.

This is a normal way to squeeze out all the contra players by operators. It looks good going forward as VC has consolidated for more than 2 weeks

If CSY and EG are in the same camp, both of them control about 25%.
NSH about 14.8%
Choo 12.6%
42% left in the market of NOSH 863m which is 414m shares
In last 2 week, share price seem to be controlled by the sellers and don't seem to have any strong buying. Think the operators are squeezing the weak holders before next push.

Good information on the scene behind VC
Why CSY used PA conversion which is more costly, to out control NSH? May be not impacting the share price upwards. By pushing up the share price will also make NSH difficult to gain more control?
May be Eugene and Choo are on the same side with her?

A few puzzling questions raised as below:
1. why do they want to increase their stake via conversion of PS when purchased from market is cheaper?
2.are they raising fund for the company?
3.is someone blocking the share price to discourage opponent from converting the PS?
4. if want to increase the stake it will be cheaper to buy from the market? Isn't it?

I went through the history , there were a board control fight earlier this year between Goh and Tan family. They were a disagreement between the terms calling gor right issue. Apparently Tan family has exited based on the announcement and Goh increased his stake in the last few weeks. Unable to find out his controlling stake now.
His amended cash call based on share price over a duration , it make sense for him to support the price as planned.
He wants to raise a certain amount and if no the number of shares and the right issue ratio, you could estimate the price up be pushed
