@liquidity..I will also stop looking. This will eat me inside. It is only paper lost now. Fundamentals are still there and it will come back after all the vaccine hype is over. The reality of current situations are still the same for the recovery stocks. Nothing change fundamentally and it will take 2-3 years to get back to normal.

Sentiment Rocker... Sentiment.... It is BAD overall for gloves... Vaccine news will NOT go away for another month... I think. Fundamentally, gloves are still very strong and looking forward there is no business as profitable and solid as gloves for 2021.

In a nutshell, the glove sector despite this period of negativity is a sector we as Malaysians should be very proud of. We have no FAANG corporations in our country, but we have these glove giants.

So if you are in a dilemma whether to hold glove stocks, I just have this to say - "It cant get any worst than this". Vaccines, Covid-19 cluster, investigation / fine by Labour Department, Customs Detention, windfall tax rumours, pretty much anything you can think of has been thrown at the sector. The glove sector will survive just as they had done so for the past 30 years. There is no fundamental or structural change to the companies. It is because of negative headlines, local funds who has met their KPI for the year and not taking positions to support the sector, and retail investors who lack the confidence to invest in the glove sector contributed to the weak share price movement. When all these negativity blows over, local funds have to chase yields and returns, retail investors become bold again, the glove stocks are the most attractive to keep in your portfolio. Hopefully this help clear some of your doubts.

I think This week and next are Lau Sai time for Gloves counters. Recovery and Bank stocks are very much in Cocaine hyper mode. Opportunity to buy though... not going to be low forever.

Today gloves take another hit with Modena Vaccine another 94% effective rate... no worries, it will go up again as soon as the hype is gone. Recovery stocks are like trading Pre Covid... totally unrealistic as the economy is going to get worse int the coming months. No other business is as good as gloves for 2021.

Now P/E cheapest again... wow EPS is 27 and 90m np. I expect 60-70m.

Tomorrow.. Break 4...4.25...4.5...4.75...5...by this year. Yeah... it is going to happen after the IB realized that the Vaccine Hype is just another HYPE. Gloves counters already down 30-40%. It is not dead. It is sector rotation. The other recovery counters are already up... like the banks and transport...which I think it is already peak given than the recovery will take at least a year. Gloves counters might look overpriced but given the orders are 12-14 months out, the demand will not suddenly Stop and ASP drop in one day. I still put my money in gloves because fundamentally, it is good for at least a year... till Q1 of 2022. That is a long time for stocks. The P/E after the next few QTRS earnings will put this stock in single digit...together with Supermx. I will wait and hold for the fundamentals.

Rishi, Agreed... I think it is hard to go to RM7 again. But RM5 is possible if the earnings are good and the directors don't sell shares like Kossan.
