Niki, the profit it makes about 20% come from fx movement last few years. So because of tyr strengthen this year which start causing impact start from previous reported quaryer.
Hence removes all these fx factors, the profit and growth it has is not as attractive as it show in previous years

Wait for one or two more qr to make sure it is having a constant revenue then only can decide to hold it for long or not

It's not a bad stock actually, one of the few og company that still generate revenue in hard time. But seems no catalyst and also some serious blocker there

Coming quarter earning will really tells how armada is performing in 2017.
As with one off earning as claimed by maybank analysis in this quarter and also the discounted / delayed payment from enquest due to the limitation on FPSO to produce kraken field to fully extend really did shave off confidence on it.....

look at the last paragraph, that's the key point related to armada.

Enquest seems just trying to get discount from armada to cover some of its lost on unable to deliver their target rate.

Unlikely will get contract affected as it is not that easy to simply swap with another FPSO vendor on doing so.

next quarter revenue might be shrink a bit due to this discount given to enquest

Kimmy, the production rate of the reservoir can never be determined in an exact number.

The max production rate is more a estimated number based on the reservoir's response and engineering. And it can be affected by all sort of factor (choke size, production facility, FPSO, water ratio, pressure etc etc).

So the expected reservoir production rate is more like theoretical value and actual production rate on FPSO is more like the actual/practical value.

If the FPSO unable to handle to handle the max capability (maybe due to high water ratio, pressure , gas rate) of the reservoir, then it will become the limitation on the reservoir to produce at its max rate.

The agreement between armada and enquest is more like they set a target rate, and if target rate achieve then armada receive 100% payment. Lower than target rate then it will be prorated value. A rish sharing contract i would say.

Thomaslky, it is always hard to define the entire problem comes from the reservoir itself or the FPSO production capability.

Based on the contract it has, reservoir prob which cause low production will impact Armada revenue as well as they are having this risk sharing contract.

Enquest seems using people competency, experience and FPSO facility's capability as an excuse on not allow Kraken field to produce at its max capability. Which we can see armada is trying hard to defend on it (but indeed they are new in north sea, so in some point it might be true).

Plus Enquest is the client for Armada, so it is always hard to win over this kind of argument (Unless they plan to discontinue this contract, haha)

Most likely Armada will take a step back and give certain discount to Enquest in order to comfort them.
