Selling last batch 2.48RM...one batch every time it goes up...soon habis at this rate but cannot complain..it has been a nice run..

Last quarter results were good but still surprised for steep uptrend....you enjoy guys!

Expecting Astro doing lot of catching up in coming months.
Many counters returned to almost precovid level
Eg.Aeon one year ago 1.35 now 1.25
Genting one year ago 2.98 now 2.98
Astro one year ago 1.18 now 0.92
Still Astro’s business hardly suffered compared with Aeon or Genting..
I think biggest reason has been EPF unloading and not bcs Astro bad counter but EPF need to cover somehow the big withdrawals.
Anyway, I am quite sure by the end of year would be at least 1.50RM level specially if Ringgit exchange rate improving.

1.20RM...I guess glove profits going to relative safe haven of Aeon..could it be the factor?...might continue..hopefully..

I think dividend to be announced only end of this month.
1.5 sen expected...anything better would be a pleasant surprise..

@Treetop...good feeling on stock maybe comes from that my average is 0.82 RM...realistically many challenges ahead and probably testing 1.10 RM level again on short term...but trusting firmly on upward trend towards year end for the reason didn’t lock any profits even after major disappointment of 1.5 sen dividend..

@derrick....Yes, yesterday 3pm somebody put 3.5 million shares for sale at 2.10 RM...abt half million went unsold at end of the day..

Dividend of 1.5sen a bit disappointment but understandable. I think Astro is only company which can deliver good dividend nowadays..
Anyway, will hold Aeon for long term..

People selling Hartalega,Topglove etc...buying to safety of Aeon...there is lot of liquidity and it must go somewhere...

Exactly one year ago Aeon was 1.38RM.
In view of that is the current pricing already too high? No, because that time FD gave you 4%, now hardly nothing. All sk dividend counters need to be rerated based on that...Aeon among them..Astro will be the second one to fly soon..

Astro will be soon on preCovid level 1.30 and passing it. Why? Bcs before Covid FD rate was 4% ,now its 1.6%. Astro gives you 7%...
Another factor, when foreign fund managers return to Bursa Astro will be one of their favourites. Why?
Bcs Astro is type of company they like..a cash cow which has enough liquidity. Everybody knows Ringgit is undervalued and its strengthtening will boost the returns..

This counter is like fixed deposit..how many companies pays dividend four times a year? ..going beyond 1RM soon ..

Most likely 2 sen dividend...biggest shareholder MCA needs money ..and Star has plenty of cash..
