HangMusang, my 1,010 big lots of Suma WB was worth RM565,600 in mid August when price hit 56. Today it's worth only RM303,000 at 30 sen. But I just take it in my stride.

I can't let myself be fazed by wild short term fluctuations in market valuations. I just hv my own valuation for what I'm holding, and I just stick to my own guns. and continue to ignore stupid, crappy noises made by naive, ignorant kids like you and the likes of you.

We all get wounded and injured every now and again. And we all lick our own wounds when we hv to. That is the real investing world for you.

When one plays low price penny stocks, one plays in big volume. 500 - 5,000 big lots is no big deal. Let's just say one plays 1,000 big lots. That is 1 million units of shares. If one gets 1 sen profit per unit, how much does one make with 1,000 big lots, i.e. 1 million units?

1 million sen, i.e. RM10k, if your constantly twirling head is struggling with the maths. Yup, RM10,000 per sen of upward movement.

On Friday 13 July I bought 1,010 big lots of Suma WB at 27.5 sen, even after having already sold it at 24 for 3 sen profit from 21 sen, because it looked like it was swiftly surging up. On the Monday of 16 July it hit 37.5 sen.

That's right. 10 sen profit per unit. So, RM101,000 for 1,010 big lots, or 1,010,000 units. Just over 1 trading day, from Friday to the following Monday.

I know. It would be mind boggling for your little kiddy heads, to just be thinking about it.

RI price cannot be higher than market price, becoz if like that then no point in buying RI. Becoz when the counter opens again for trading, after closing for like 2 weeks, the Rights shares become tradeable just like ordinary existing shares. They just become the same thing.

Something like that, CassYee. But you need to hv 2 existing shares to qualify for 1 Rights share, if the present proposal is maintained. So, if you don't hv any yet right now, it's probably better for you to wait until near the deadline to buy.

Go talk to your remisier to get the precise calculations. He will be able to explain to you better in detail.

For the previous RI, the 'controlled' or 'managed' price at near deadline closing was about 50. But I did not buy anymore at that price. Saved the rest of my money to pay for the 450 big lots of Rights.

No wonder you always talk so much crap. Dude, the right term is 'coconut juice'. 'Coconut water' is just simplified English.

The stuff that one uses for cooking with, i.e. the 'santan', is the 'coconut milk'.

Tell you my example from previous RI, CassYee. I was holding 100 big lots at average 73. Then RI offer came at 17.5, with 10 existing shares qualifying for 41 Rights shares.

So I qualified for 410 big lots of Rights shares and got the 410 forms. Then I also applied for 40 big lots of Excess Rights, also at 17.5 sen per share.

So, with total of 450 big lots of Rights shares, I also received like 133 free WB warrants.

When the Rights and Warrants came on stream, the shares first traded at about 24.5, while my average cost came down to 28. Whie the free WB Warrants first traded at around 14.5 on the first day, IIRC.

It was quite a head crack deciding to accept or not to accept the RI at the time, but for fortunately I made the right decision to accept.

It's just simple arithmetic, CassYee. Basically, becoz the company wants to draw money from the market (i.e. dudes like you, me, Tan, Din and Hari), they hv to offer an incentive, in the form of a small profit, like around 20%, to potential RI acceptors.

So, what they do is control the price at near offer-deadline time at a certain level, which would give you about say 20% profit if you buy at that price and then accept the RI offer. This price would depend on how many existing shares qualifies one for how many Rights. Like for this proposed one, 2 existing shares qualifies you for 1 rights share.

An additional incentive is the free warrants. I'm not sure if this part goes into the calculations or not, becoz it's considered like free pocket money.

Well, if the market price continues to hover around 40, there would not be much sense in proceeding with the original proposed RI price of 40, because there would be hardly any benefit for a potential RI-acceptor to go through with the RI exercise.

So, the choice for the company is to either: (1) maintain the RI price at 40 and push up the market price of existing shares to around the 58 - 60 level; or (2) control the market price of existing shares at around 40 and push down (i.e. revise down) the RI price to perhaps around the 27 level. This is assuming the current proposed ratio of 1 Rights share for every 2 existing shares.

This is just based on my personal approximate calculation.

You are right about one thing, HT. That I am a great nujum. I've already proven myself right with Sumatec, going in early when so many others were still dead wary of and scaredy catty about it. Making myself 350k paper profit in 10 months from just 200k capital.

And now I'm predicting a similar kind of boom for Glotec. You just wait and see.
